Guided by our licensed world-recognised Taekwondo exponent, we provide comprehensive training in a variety of disciplines.


Our curriculum includes Taekwondo, with both World Taekwondo and International Taekwondo Federation styles—each known for high kicks and fast hand techniques; Hapkido, a dynamic and highly eclectic complete Korean martial art; Kumdo, the way of the sword; and weapon defence classes. Martial Arts Available

Taekwondo

Train in both traditional and Olympic Taekwondo styles to develop discipline, agility and self-defence. Classes are open to beginners and advanced students alike.

Lil Tae Kwon Do-ers

Designed for kids aged 4–8, these classes focus on fun, focus and foundational martial arts skills. Children  gain confidence while learning respect and coordination.

Hapkido

A complete self-defence system blending strikes, throws, locks and weapon techniques. Hapkido builds both physical strength and mental resilience for students aged 12+.

Kumdo

Kumdo  teaches traditional Korean sword skills through precise movements and focused technique. It’s a great way to improve balance, posture and mental discipline.

Weapon Defence Classes

Learn to defend against common weapons with practical, hands-on training. This class builds real-world awareness, reaction skills and calm under pressure.

WT Sport Sparring

Refine your speed, timing and strategy in Olympic-style Taekwondo sparring. Perfect for those wanting a high-energy workout and competitive martial arts experience.

Education & School Programs

At Him-Do Tae Kwon Do Academy, we strive to provide students with quality education and unique experiences. Our education and school programs are designed for children and teenagers of all ages, offering them the opportunity to learn martial arts in a safe environment through our Taekwondo Kickstarters program. This program is delivered by accredited Australian Taekwondo coaches, allowing students to receive the best instruction and guidance. Our program is designed with a focus on self-defence, anti-bullying measures and the importance of physical activity.


Through our program, we hope to give children and teenagers the skills they need to stay safe and healthy while exploring the art of Taekwondo. The Australian Government offers government grants for schools that are looking to get involved with our Taekwondo program. Pan Pacific Games

This competition offers over 40 sports for participants to compete in, from martial arts to athletics. Our academy can provide training to help get you ready for the tournament, with our Friday classes specifically designed for this purpose.


Whether you're new to martial arts or an experienced competitor, our instructors have the knowledge and experience to help you reach your goals. We also welcome adults of any age to compete in this tournament, so no matter how old you are, you can take part in this exciting event!
